trunk show

Friends.
Beware.

Quilts ADD up.

Instead of sewing yesterday...
I gave an informal trunk show to relatives.

I was SHOCKED at how many quilts I had to share.
I was SHOCKED at how much I could TALK about each one!

I'm EMBARRAssed that I have this many quilts at MY house!!!!
I thought I had given MOST away!!

This stack does not include the quilts on
WALLS...
BEDS......and SOFAS!!!!

  1. Sounds like you had a good time yesterday, then! I'm glad to hear it. Also, I'm not surprised you had so much to say about each one-- your thought processes and the new things you're trying or learning from each one :)

  2. That's too funny. My family has no idea how many small quilts are under the bed in the guest room. I don't have any bed size quilts anywhere as I have given them all away. I plan to correct that in the near future! I need some quilts for me.

  3. I can sure relate to this! I don't think I ever have mine all in one place at one time :0). Looks like a nice collection and I wish I could have been there for the trunk show. Are you gonna give us one online?

    Happy Sewing

  8. I know what you mean Beth. Would a trunk show something you may consider for Quilters by the Sea?

  10. I also have to have a trunk show when my family visits. My mom always asks what I'm working on, and one quilt leads to another.

  12. I would definitely consider it much more entertaining than someone's travel photos!! I'm jealous of the fact that those quilts are finished. I'm embarrassed by the number of tops I have waiting to be quilted. You've given me momentum to "bore" - I mean - entertain my family with some completed projects.
